Viborg Katedralskole

Viborg Katedralskole is a modern upper secondary school with about 85 teachers and 760 students aged between 16 and 20. The hall of residence connected with the school has room for 80 students.

Viborg Katedralskole offers a three-year education programme aimed at preparing the students for a higher education in the best possible way. At the end of the programme there is a final examination which qualifies the student for more advanced studies.

As an institution Viborg Katedralskole has its roots in the year 1100. At that time Denmark was a Catholic country and the school was attached to the cathedral of the town.

Viborg Katedralskole is located in a neoclassical listed building from 1926, situated close to central Viborg.
